All existing, pending and pending litigation, as well as unasserted claims, must be reported in the format specified below. In addition to the status of outstanding contingent liabilities, interim reporting letters should also include cases that were reported in the previous year`s legal representation letters and are no longer pending. The final declaration letter should be limited to new information (i.e. cases that occurred after the interim letter or changes in the status of cases reported in the interim letter). The last letter must not repeat information from the interim letter that has not changed. The OIG should receive interim and final letters of legal representation no later than 29. August and November 15 respectively. Letters must be sent electronically in PDF format, including signatures, to the Department of Justice, the Financial Administration Department of the Department of Finance and the Government Accountability Office under the provisions of OMB Circular No.
A-136. Individual cases or groups of cases should be reported using the following forms, depending on the type of case reported or cluster of cases: Most of our forms can be completed. Under the Government Management Reform Act, the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), annually prepares audited financial statements for the preceding fiscal year and submits them to the President and Congress. The U.S. Comptroller General audits these financial statements. According to OMB Circular A-136, the U.S. government`s financial report is due no later than December 15 following the end of the fiscal year. The Department of Finance compiles the FR from data provided by federal agencies. 3.
