London Legal Summer Internship

Our summer internships provide students with valuable insights into PwC`s activities and culture. You will have the opportunity to experience working and living at PwC and working with graduates and experienced professionals on real client projects. LPRU articling students are supervised by lawyers with international experience in various commercial fields and have a strong interest in matters affecting the legal profession. What you will do To obtain an apprenticeship contract with us, you must complete our legal summer holiday program. The two-week programs for students take place during the summer and will help you decide if a career with us is right for you. Work permit If you have successfully completed our summer vacation program, you may be offered an internship at PwC. Please note the following information regarding work permit sponsorship for our two-year training contract. What you`ll earn Our two-week paid summer vacation program is a great way to find out how we work and see for yourself how we are truly unique in the legal market and gain valuable legal work experience during your stay with us. You will get a very competitive salary while you are here. You will have the opportunity to participate in meetings and calls with clients, do research, practice legal preparation, participate in our seminar and training program, and work directly with our lawyers. To advance our goals, IBAHRI conducts a variety of projects to build capacity, advocate for change and highlight issues of international interest to the public, media and legal community. Our core activities include the training of lawyers and judges; capacity-building of bar and bar associations; conducting high-level fact-finding missions; and conducting experimental observations. IBAHRI also works on a number of thematic programmes. Legal Summer Vacation Program You will work in two different practice groups, research, draft legal documents, and participate in meetings with clients. To be eligible for transfer from a Level 4 General Student to a Level 2 General Migrant in the UK, you must currently have been sponsored by an approved Level 4 sponsor to obtain one of the following qualifications: a UK Bachelor`s degree; a British master`s degree; a graduate certificate in pedagogy or a professional diploma in education.

If your current course doesn`t fall under any of these qualifications, you may be able to rely on a previous degree that does, but you`ll need to prove you`ve had an uninterrupted holiday in the UK since then. Any interruption of your UK holiday between courses may result in non-compliance with this requirement. This should be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Be sure to send us copies of your current and previous UK visa (including BRPs). What you need We typically recruit articling lawyers two years in advance, but we are flexible and accept applications from law students from the previous year (and above) and non-lawyer students in their final year (and more). If you are working towards a professional qualification, you will have free time to study, and once the apprenticeship contract is concluded, we will continue to support you in the development of your career with us. All itineraries offer you the opportunity to grow as an individual, meet new people, and build lasting relationships that will stay with you for the rest of your life. Typical tasks for interns are: When to apply The application deadline is January 4, 2023 The deadline for online play is January 5, 2023 The submission deadline for the recorded video interview is January 29, 2023 We will inform you of the result of your application on February 8, 2023. Assessment centres will take place in the week beginning February 13, 2023. The program is our most important way to conclude an apprenticeship contract with us.
