A quick internet search shows that the website of Timeshare Medition (www.timesharemediation.co.uk) is registered with a company in Tenerife called O WHAT A NIGHT SL. This company, according to the Spanish Commercial Registry (House of Companies), deals with a) the import, export, purchase and wholesale and retail sale of machinery, furniture and all kinds of office supplies. (b) The purchase, sale, acquisition, sale, rental and operation of all types of furniture. Having already been contacted by J.D. Knight Associates, who offered to buy our weeks for a “very rich man” and offered to present us as wrongly sold on another occasion, we were obviously very doubtful and contacted Mindtimeshare. To assess timeshare consumers, they need to review their records and decide if they can actually help them with the refund. I don`t think a Spanish furniture and office supplies store would be very well placed to offer legal advice via timeshare! The email address used is admin@timesharemediationservices.co.uk Timeshare Mediation Services Cold Calls customers and explains how they can help apply for a refund under the Consumer Credit Act. My father has just been contacted by a “John Martin” on behalf of Mediation Services and claims they can claim money on our behalf for a poorly sold illegal timeshare from Lion Resorts at a cost of £350. The more questions we asked, the angrier he became and the faster he spoke, so we couldn`t even understand what he was explaining.
He said that Lion Resorts was going to go into liquidation and that my father, as a shareholder, would be responsible for their debts. At the end of the first phone call, he gave me a phone number. and said I could call back if I wanted to continue. In the meantime, I found this site and explained my suspicions to my father. John Martin called us back within 20 minutes and my dad said no, we don`t want to continue because it`s a scam that John Martin got really angry about and started saying he was going to include a disclaimer so we couldn`t even take steps to claim money ourselves, as he will say to the consumer association. that we get our money back, and the disclaimer prevents us from taking further action. I said please don`t do this because I myself want to take steps to try and solve this, but we don`t want to take in more money than the almost £6000 we`ve already paid to which he said he would include the disclaimer because we think we`re so smart. And just because he can, and then he hung up. This wicked man worried my OLHI dad even more and annoyed us so much, but we don`t think we have a leg to stand on. I was contacted twice by a very nice woman named Sue from Timeshare Mediation who seemed to know a lot about our timeshare history and was very plausible about section 75 and what we can claim.
However, when she said they needed £599 to deposit in advance into a Nat West account, and then emailed me to an amateur looking for a pay slip, the alarm bells rang so I decided to google her business and came to this one! I will not pass money on to them! I have received several calls from Timeshare Mediation Services regarding our Holiday Club membership with DWVC.
